Pest Minds was created after its founder, Anna Mollins, hosted a talk on mental health in a trade association conference. “A short while after the conference a pest professional sought me out to thank me, because in hearing mine and another’s own experience with mental health struggles, it gave them the courage to seek help. Knowing that they weren’t alone had helped them to take the first positive steps in improving their own mental health.”
Starting out as an initiative, Pest Minds has developed further by becoming a Community Interest Company (CIC). In doing so it hopes to further develop projects that will support the improvement of mental wellbeing in the pest management industry. Reliant on donations and grants for its finances, we encourage any who want to help further the Pest Minds mission to fundraise, sponsor or volunteer.
